On April 11 I had the opportunity to participate in the conference “Sustainability in Heritage Conservation and Restoration: Current Vision and Challenges”, together with members of Ainhoa Gea Aranoa, Irene Cárdaba, Goizane Aizpurua, Maite Maguregui and Goizane Mendia.
We had the opportunity to share the projects we are carrying out on sustainability and heritage conservation. In cultural absences, projects on sustainable collection centers, flexibility of climate controls in storage, carbon footprint of temporary exhibitions, ENCLOSURE Project between chemists and conservators, or the reuse of conservation materials. Learning, questioning and reflecting on the ways of working systematically until today, incorporating sustainability into the daily life of our professions through new reflections.
Thanks to the organizers Jaione Korro Bañuelos, Ainara Zornoza Indart and Iraia Anthonis of the Faculty of Fine Arts of the UPV.
